Siren Reddress

Siren Redress seeks to dismantle the seductive mermaid iconography of one of mythologies most mistranslated monsters. From the sirens point of view, the film leans into the ways we fear femininity with violence. It recenters who is heard while also queering on the ways popular culture has devolved the siren into a sole subject of male desire.
