Hayden Summers (she/her) was born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia, Hayden Summers currently resides in Columbus, Ohio, where she is a Community Artist with Whirlwind Dance. She started her dance journey at the age of 2 with The Academy of Arts at Januarys, where she trained in a variety of styles including ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern, contemporary, and more. In 2023, she graduated from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with a BFA in Dance with a concentration in Performance & Choreography. While there, she developed her choreographic and artistic voice, performing many student works as well as choreographing her own. She also had the opportunity to work with guest artists such as Helen Simoneau, and Cameron McKinney from Kizuna Dance.
