Elyse Kassa (she/her) lives in Columbus, Ohio, (but is an East Coaster at heart) and loves to make things. She is primarily a dancer and choreographer, but also a writer, visual artist, and actor. She has traveled to Nashville, Hartford, New York City, and Berlin, to continue researching and developing her understanding of movement and dance-making. Her work has been performed at Blockfort Gallery, Synergy Dance Series, Columbus City Dance Showcase, Cleveland Dance Festival, and the East-Central ACDA Gala Concert. She recently performed as part of Perennial Movement Group’s “Glad You’re Here”, and Liz Bustle’s “The Ephemeral Table”. Elyse deepens her connection to the Columbus dance community through her involvement with the Columbus Dance Alliance, where she holds a leadership role, and through her weekly classes at Flux Flow Dance Center. Elyse holds a BFA. in Dance: Performance & Choreography from Ohio University.
