Jessica Cavender (she/her) earned her MFA from the Ohio State University Department of Dance focused on arts documentation and performance technologies. She is a founding member of the OhioDance Virtual Dance Collection and has spent the last decade capturing and presenting Ohio's rich dance history. Cavender also works in public broadcasting, often producing documentaries on Ohio dance artists, and has been nominated twice for regional Emmys. As a screen dance artist her films have been shown across the US, Europe, South America, and Australia.
